2. Services & Scope

All services are agreed upon before work begins.

  • One-time projects (e.g. website builds)
  • Ongoing retainers (monthly services)

Any work outside the agreed scope may:

  • Require additional fees
  • Extend timelines

3. Payments

Payment terms depend on the project and will be agreed in advance.

General structure:

  • A deposit may be required before work begins
  • Remaining payment may be due:
    • After completion
    • At milestones
    • Monthly (for retainers)

We may accept payments via bank transfer, Stripe, or other agreed methods.

Late or missed payments:

  • Work may be paused immediately
  • Deliverables may be withheld
  • Ongoing services may be suspended

4. Refund Policy

We aim to deliver high-quality work. However:

  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • Work already completed is non-refundable

Partial refunds may be considered only if:

  • The project has not yet started, or
  • Very limited work has been completed

5. Revisions

We typically include up to 2 reasonable revisions per project.

Additional revisions:

  • May incur extra charges
  • May extend timelines

We aim to be flexible, but excessive or repeated changes may be treated as new work.

6. Timelines

Project timelines are estimates unless otherwise agreed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Lack of client communication
  • Delayed content or approvals
  • Third-party platforms

7. Results Disclaimer

We do not guarantee specific results, including:

  • Search engine rankings
  • Website traffic
  • Leads or revenue

While we apply proven strategies, outcomes depend on many external factors beyond our control.

8. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth delivery, clients agree to:

  • Provide necessary information and content
  • Respond to communications in a timely manner
  • Grant required access to platforms (e.g. website, analytics, social media)

Failure to do so may:

  • Delay the project
  • Affect results

9. Access & Accounts

Clients may grant us access to platforms such as:

  • Websites
  • Google Analytics / Search Console
  • Social media accounts

We will:

  • Use access only for agreed work
  • Respect permissions and security

Clients remain in control of their accounts.

10. Termination

Either party may end a project or agreement if necessary.

For one-time projects:

  • Work completed up to that point must be paid for

For retainers:

  • Clients may cancel at any time
  • Services will continue until the end of the current billing period

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

  • There is non-payment
  • Communication breaks down
  • The project becomes unworkable

11. Ownership

Ownership depends on payment status:

  • Final deliverables are transferred to the client after full payment
  • Until then, all work remains the property of Deucis

We reserve the right to:

  • Showcase completed work in our portfolio

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deucis is not liable for:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Business interruption
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided.

Our website may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
