Refund Policy
Last updated: March 2026
At Deucis, we aim to deliver high-quality services and a smooth client experience. This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled across our services.
1. General Policy
Due to the nature of digital services, most payments made to Deucis are non-refundable.
This is because time, effort, and resources are allocated to each project once work begins.
2. Deposits
Any upfront deposit required to begin work is strictly non-refundable.
Deposits are used to:
- Secure your project
- Cover initial planning, research, and setup
3. Cooling-Off Period
Clients may request a refund within 48 hours of payment, provided that:
- Work has not yet started, and
- No significant resources have been allocated
If work has already begun within this period, the deposit remains non-refundable.
4. Project Work (One-Time Services)
For one-time projects (such as website design or SEO setup):
- Work already completed is non-refundable
- If a project is cancelled early, you may be charged for work completed up to that point
Partial refunds may be considered only where:
- Minimal work has been completed, and
- The request is made early in the project
Once substantial work has been carried out, no refunds will be issued.
5. Monthly Services (Retainers)
For ongoing services:
- Payments are made in advance for each billing period
- Once a billing period has started, it is non-refundable
Clients may cancel at any time, but:
- Services will continue until the end of the current billing cycle
- No refunds will be issued for unused time within that period
6. Performance Disclaimer
Refunds are not provided based on performance outcomes, including:
- Search engine rankings
- Website traffic
- Leads or revenue
While we apply proven strategies, results depend on multiple external factors beyond our control.
7. Dissatisfaction
If you are not satisfied with the service:
- Please contact us first so we can resolve the issue
- Reasonable revisions or adjustments may be offered where appropriate
Refunds will not be issued solely based on dissatisfaction if agreed work has been delivered.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
By working with Deucis, you agree to contact us first to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Unjustified chargebacks may be challenged and could result in:
- Suspension of services
- Additional recovery actions where necessary
9. Exceptions
Refunds may be issued at our discretion in rare cases, such as:
- Duplicate payments
- Billing errors
